This long line enables your dog to explore with safety. It is made from either 1/2″ or 5/8″ BETA Biothane®. 1/2" is the best choice for most dogs, as it is  strong enough for any dog and the 1/2" drapes better in the hand. They are ideal for training young dogs, when learning recall, or older dogs who are likely to have selective deafness !

Long line that are used to drag behind free running dogs should always be attached to a harness for free running, never a collar. Long lines with handles should never be used for free running.

It is available with 3 options for the handle. Option 1 No handle. Option 2 A sewn  handle. Option 3 a clever design allows you to have a handle for walking and no handle when the dog is loose.

The clip end is both sewn and riveted for strength.

It is supple and warm in your hands, and requires no maintenance, no matter how wet and muddy it gets.

It can be ordered with either brass, or stainless steel clips, so will not rust. Stainless steel is very hard wearing and is recommended for strong dog, and if the line is to be used for free running.
